Our curriculum
STEM Academy offers a fully accredited home-school education pathway for learners from Grade R to Grade 12, aligned with the IEB curriculum. Classes run from Monday to Thursday, 08h30 to 14h30 with Friday as a catchup day. What sets us apart is our integration of Coding, Robotics, CAD, and 3D Printing, equipping learners with the skills needed to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Learners attend the academy in casual clothing, creating a comfortable & engaging learning environment.

Our premises
At STEM Academy, we don’t call our classrooms “classrooms” — we call them Labs, because that’s exactly what they are: interactive, tech-powered learning environments where theory meets innovation.Our Labs are equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics kits, coding systems, design software, and advanced engineering tools — giving learners access to technology and experiences far beyond what traditional schools offer.Here, learning is hands-on, creative, and future-focused— preparing learners not just to keep up with the world, but to shape it.
Our blended learning approach
At STEM Academy, our curriculum is fully integrated into a dynamic Learner Management System (LMS), giving every learner access to lessons, resources, and progress tracking online. From a young age, learners are taught how to confidently navigate the digital world — an essential skill in today’s tech-driven era.Our LMS allows learners to refer back to lessons, track their learning journey, and stay on par with the curriculum at their own pace. This digital approach not only reinforces classroom learning but also develops strong self-management and digital literacy skills early on.
